Dawid Van Rensburg was born into a family that worked on farmland they did not own (sometimes known as “sharecroppers”).   Although his mother did not attend church for several years; she started Dawid and his older brother to a nearby church after their father committed suicide when Dawid was only 10 years old.   After the death of his father, his mother had to find multiple part time jobs to keep the family going.   She would teach her children from the Bible and each week would go over Sunday school lessons and read scriptures with them. At the age of eleven, he heard a radio evangelist preaching on Bible prophecy and purchased a Bible prophecy home study program.   The preacher had been dealing with the book of Revelation.   Van Rensburg was so impressed with what he heard that he made his lifelong goal the understanding of this most difficult book. By the time he was fourteen, he had learned both the short and long Catechisms of his Reformed denomination.   Dawid cannot recall a time when he was not a Christian, although as he matured he gave his profession of faith and was baptized before the elders and congregation of the small, rural Reformed church at the age of seventeen.   By the time he was eighteen, Dawid had earned his 7th year Sunday School pin bar.   The seven-year string of pin bars was lost by a girlfriend and never was recovered. He was active in his church during his school years, and at graduation the church offered him a scholarship at a Christian college.   He turned down the offer, having the (misplaced) fear that he might fail and embarrass his church and family.   Instead he attended a two year technical school to study electrical systems and became very astute in that field.   After gaining a supervision position with his employer, they insisted he complete a college degree to enable him to have opportunity for further promotions.   He attended a collage that also had a course in theology and followed that program in its support studies for his degree.   At this time he began reading and doing research on end time doctrines seeking to find a position that he could rationally accept that would support his own intuitively held beliefs and to solidify his own understanding of end time prophecy.   The writers that had the most influence on his thinking in this area were George Ladd, Robert H. Gundry, and Wayne Grudem.   During the many years of study and research he began to entertain the possibility of writing an end time's book.   After finding it nearly impossible to write until he had did more reading and research, he continued reading and studying for many years and finely came to the conclusion he was not qualified to write such a book.   However; after his retirement, during his later years, he began to sense that much end time prophecy was beginning to be revealed.   Unable to find a satisfactory work bearing on his way of thinking that a lay person could understand; he intuitively decided to write a book himself on the topic.   He was deeply impressed by Jesus self-identification as being The Alpha and The Omega in the book of Revelation and decided to make that the underlying theme for the book.   This book took over 3 years to complete.   Mr. Van Rensburg is currently serving as an Elder in a Reformed church. Life didn't look too promising for me before I started using the Universal Laws and accepting God for what She truly is! God is part of us! There is no separation. Once you accept that, you can change your entire life for the better. Even after the beatings and the abuse and being constantly bullied every day, I know can find peace knowing that I can create my own world. I want you to be able to do that too. I want to be an inspiration for as many people as possible. My Indigo spirit beckons me to spread my message with every pulsing beat of my heart! I have a lot to say, and I am not afraid to say it! Do not expect any punches to be pulled in my books. But you can always guarantee that you will get an inspiring, truthful to the core, story when you read my books!

I was raised in a conservative Christian home, but later became a student of Eastern thought and religion; I eventually became a Christian minister, trained by world-class Biblical scholars in a notably liberal seminary. At the age of fifty, after more years of study and thought, I converted to the modern Jewish religion, and my studies continued. My beliefs and ideas have gone on evolving, and now I consider myself a devoted Jew, if an obscurely agnostic one (which is not uncommon among modern Jews). Any attempts to categorize or pigeonhole my beliefs or my ideas and perspectives are doomed to failure; I stopped trying to classify my evolving approach and understanding of my religious belief myself, some years ago. I believe in this book. It is my life's work, and the product of a lifetime of study and thought from many different perspectives. I may not live to see my book find its audience and its place; but I know in my heart that one day it will. Its message is at once deeply humanistic and deeply reverent, taking both rational thought and the religious impulse seriously while denigrating neither. It is a product of both my heart and my mind, and though I hold no dogmatic "beliefs" in the conventional sense, I believe that my book communicates some worthwhile principles, thoughts and ideas -- among them the deeply Jewish conviction that nothing -- no belief, no practice, no tradition -- is more important or holier than the life, freedom and dignity of the individual human being. All the rest is secondary, and our task is to bear that highest value in mind and heart while using both to pursue these three -- Truth, Justice, and Peace. All that was true for the man we call Moses more than three thousand years ago, and it remains true for us today.
